Henrietta Rehomed
This gorgeous lady came to us in May 2012 as the owner needed to rehome but the only interest they had was for breeding. At two years old, it would be dangerous for Henrietta to now have a litter.

Henrietta was homed to an experienced adult home that was able to work with her on her confidence with handling and allow her plenty of enrichment and attention. She loves live crickets and strokes behind the ears!

Ruffle and Twist Rehomed
Ruffle and Twist were sold as child's pets and came to us when the owner realised their specialist needs. Multimammate mice do not make good pets for children, they are frequently bred as live food so understandably their temperaments can be shy and sometimes cage aggressive.
These girls are adapting well to a suitable, large enclosure that they cannot chew out of and escape. They are a little shy and will need work building their confidence with an experienced owner of exotics.

These girls were homed to an experienced owner who can work with them on taming and building confidence.
Further Details
Many of our Multi rescues have come from situations where they have been bred for food. We've placed them with experienced owners or those keen to research and learn. Many have gone to keep lone male mice company, as they cannot interbreed.
Ruffle and Twist need work on their handling as they can be prone to biting and showing signs of cage aggression. This isn't unusual for multimmate mice and can be worked on with patience, and tube-training is a good way of improving confidence.
